About the Author

January Liddell

Aloha! I'm January Liddell, a proud wife, mom, and the author behind Alina The Honey Maker children’s book series.

My background as a Senior Retirement Income Specialist gives me a unique perspective on the importance of financial wisdom, and that passion drives my writing. I believe that learning about money should start young and be fun!

This led me to create books like Alina, The Super Saver and Dynamo Jr’s Spending Spree. This series is designed to build healthy money habits and financial confidence early on, all while celebrating beautiful Hawaiian values.

When I’m not helping families with future financial planning, you might find me boogie boarding on the east side or supporting my children’s activities. My mission is to give families the tools, whether through finance or storytelling, to feel confident and ready to embrace all that life has to offer!
